Juan Pablo Egúsquiza (Peru)

Multidisciplinary artist, musician and sound experimenter. Focused on topics of recycling and accumulation, assembly, interaction and movement in spaces, sound sculpture, electroacoustic and free improvisation.

I seek to transmit a multisensory experience, an interaction between visual and sound, space and time, and thus represent another way of understanding reality and our relationship with the context that surrounds us. Therefore, I consider it necessary to have a participatory experience of action and to allow the viewer the interaction with objects, experiences, people or ideas that help us to continue exploring and experiencing this world.

Graduated in Sculpture at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Master in Sound Art at the Universitat de Barcelona, Spain.
